I'm Dixie.

I'm a full-time working mom, wife, daughter, friend, aunt, pediatric sleep specialist and margarita enthusiast.

I know how it feels to constantly feel like you've worked a full day in the office before you even leave the daycare parking lot. If the pressures of being the 'perfect' mom, sleep training, juggling work-life balance (is that a magical unicorn??), or navigating mom-guilt resonates with you, then you are in the right place.

I'm here for you. I am you! I founded Modern Working Mama (@modern.working.mama on Insta) to serve as a resource for you on navigating the role of a working mama while balancing delicate topics like your child's sleep, societal pressures on moms, your well-being, and mom-guilt.

The tips she gave me immediately improved my son’s sleep. Our son went from waking up every 30 mins at night to long 4 hour or so stretches.
